[edit]There seems to be some in the box on the right, re the head-teacher. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.11.150.133 (talk) 16:05, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Indeed - Dash Driscoll has in fact never been headteacher of Elliott School, but has been, perhaps misleadingly, referred to a "student" on occasion.

Names from the past
[edit]I attended from 1955/57 when my family relocated from South Wales due to work commitments. I entered form 4G (?) Mr. C Forgeoni (Latin teacher) was form master. The staff members I recall are : Mr.Rose. History Mr.Addison. English. Mr.Burke. Maths. Mr. Gibson. P/E. Ms. Crick. German, Mr. Mason. Dane Housemaster. Mr. Seal. ? There are a few more which will probably spring to mind at a later date. Fellow pupils at this time : Ray Smith (Smiffy) John Elwyn Kenneth Jones Bernard Tinker Anthony Clapp David Holland Emrys Jones ? Poole Rob Hoare Dung Vu Kack...From Vietnam Pete(?) Osbourne... Australian June Chitty There are a few I've missed but like the staff it is unintentional and I hope I.m forgiven. When we returned to Wales a couple of years later my future wife and I bumped into Mr. Forgeoni who had been visiting his family who ran a cafe and another who ran a confectioners. He recognised me immediately, which pleased me no end and we chatted for a little while before parting. I always have fond memories of my time in Elliott's, I still have my blazer badge, monitor pin and some reports which should be left undisturbed. I hope this little distraction my be of interest to someone, and I would love to know how some history of those named...Sadly I was made aware that Mr. Mason had passed on a few years ago. To me he was and will always be a true gentleman. Best wishes for a healthy. happy & jolly 2019. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.144.203.158 (talk) 12:51, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
